They bring together a spread and depth of practical sector knowledge gained in the field that has included advisory contribution to Government public event safety policies now covering every type of major gathering including Royal events, spectator sport, entertainment, political and other types of contentious gathering and the venues in which they are held.

ARC Detection Group was created by a group of close friends from Scotland, all with backgrounds in major Event Management and Production Industries in the UK and US and, between them, have 160 years experience Producing and Managing Global Music Tours and Festivals, Military Events with Heads of State in attendance and Corporate / Sporting events around The World.

Following Terrorist attacks on Concerts and Events in Paris, Barcelona, Manchester, Germany and America, as well as the increase in risk and fear inspired by the threat of Terrorist Groups to attack audiences, workers and Public gatherings in venues, at festivals and indeed sadly, in City Centres, Government decided to Support the introduction of Martyns Law, (Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025) which requires certain UK public venues and events to improve security against terrorism by implementing risk assessments, training, and preparedness plans, based on visitor capacity in a tiered system (Standard for 100-799 people, Enhanced for 800+), aiming to better protect the public by ensuring preparedness for attacks, honoring Martyn Hett who died in the Manchester Arena attack. To reduce the threat to future generations in the UK and Society in general, ARC Detection Group, Scotlands first and only supplier of innovative and proven methods solutions, has been founded to use their skills gained from the Entertainment / Television Industries using technology and experience, as well as creating skilled opportunities for Scotland’s Youth and future generations offering, jobs and extensive training in Scotland exclusively, commencing 2026 from the ARC Detection Group Headquarters based in Glasgow.
